Where To Get Hardware Help For Your Computer

For people like myself, and those people who are not exactly computer geeks but have some ideas when something is wrong with their computer; there is a lot of online hardware help available.

One site called www.hardwarehell.com is a great site to look up your hardware problems and solutions to solve them. I particularly love this site because I am on a Mac and there is not too much Mac help available on other sites. Primarily help is available on the majority of sites for Windows formats. This site addresses PC’s with Windows formats and has a section for Macs as well.

The first page of the website is very easy to navigate. Hardware help on this site is broken down by category. You click on one of the various labeled pictures and a whole page will come up with options that are easy to read to help you through your hardware help. You have hardware help ranging from Motherboard/BIOS, Jumper Settings/ Specs, CD Rom/Audio, Build/Upgrade, Monitors/Video, Printer/Scanners/Cameras, Hardware Drives/Storage, Apple/Macintosh, Device Drivers, CPU/Chipsets, Modem/Serial Ports, Operating System, Portables, Memory, PS/2-OS/2, Downloads, Optimize/Tweak, Sites That Cover It All, Company Contacts, SCSI, Forums, Publications, Misc. and Networks. Now you cannot get more comprehensive than that in my opinion. There is even a section on how to protect your password from hackers by doing a couple of hardware tricks. If you cannot find what you need on the site they also have a form for you to report your system’s problem and they will update their system information with the problem you have. You can also contact them directly if you need too.

There is another site I liked called www.pchardwarhelp.com. They give very simple definitions of all the parts, devices and system technical terms in easy to understand language. For someone like myself this is a must because if I don’t understand the language I will not utilize the site. This site has articles, tutorials and PC hardware help made easy.

When you still aren’t able to fix the hardware problem on your own there are many computer repair companies that are available to come to your home. Depending on your location, you can find a site online that have 24 hr. service to come to your home and fix your computer hardware or software issues. The problem is sometimes they are booked so much ahead of time; it may take a day to get to you and depending. If it is the weekend it may even take a little longer for them to get to you.

The company my family uses that you can also find on line is www.newyorkcomputerhelp.com. They always seem to come within a few hours after our SOS calls. I can say they have fixed my son’s PC computer issues better than other online sites that have come to my home.

None of these companies are cheap so you want a company that works well and fast to get your money’s worth. I found this to be the case with New York Computer Help. Their telephone number is and support @newyorkcomputerhelp.com. We keep their phone number on our refrigerator. When in doubt get professional help.
