PC Diagnostics Freeware
Just as the title implies pc diagnostic freeware is free software that is available on the Internet to download and install to diagnose various things going on with your computer. One such site on the Internet is www.free-wareguide.com. It has a list of downloadable freeware right on its first page called Utilities, Optimizers and Diagnostics. There are downloads available for Windows applications. They include X-setup 6.6, which is the latest of tweaker software. It allows you to change hidden settings that you can’t normally find within windows. You can choose between 2 diagnostic and benchmarking programs ,both for windows, both are freeware. One is Everest Home Edition and the other is AIDA32. AIDA32 is for professional information, Everest is for home computers. They have a freeware Ram booster and healthmonitor, which is an on line monitoring program. There is other tweaking and diagnostic freeware available as well on that site. I would not recommend some of these freeware for beginners. You need to understand how a computer works for some of these pc diagnostic software tools. Another good freeware site with pc diagnostic freeware is www.freewarehome.com. What I like about them is the descriptions they give for the freeware and what it is used for is in understandable language for someone who is not a computer pro. There is also a star vote for each freeware that users have voted on. This helps you to decide if you want to use it based on others experience with the freeware or not. The average star rating for the freeware on that site is a 4 out of 5 star, which is not bad. They have Fresh Diagnose 7.54, which is an analysis and benchmarking tool. That received 4 1/2 stars from 195 users. There is also freeware called Heavy Load 2.1, which tests your computer under stress, a Windows Memory Diagnostic 2.0 which checks for RAM errors and other pc diagnostic freeware. A lot of the registry pc diagnostic freeware is not totally free. It usually downloads and installs for free. It even scans for errors for free but when it comes to correcting the errors you have to pay to fix them. You can pay online but non-the less it is not free. In fact a lot of the user-friendly pc diagnostic freeware will let you download and install for free but you must pay to remove the errors. Unless you are really computer literate the pc diagnostic software can be tricky. You have to understand what it is you are downloading and why, one wrong click of the mouse and you can lose valuable information or a crucial piece of program that your computer cannot function without. I suggest that it is better for the non literate computer users to use one of the easy download and install pc diagnostic freeware that have a fee for error removal. Most of them come with some sort of guarantee and if it doesn’t fix your problem with a click of the mouse you can get your money back. |
