Software Error: Can You Fix It?
We get a software error because there is something wrong with a code in a program that makes an error as the result. A software error is usually do to a syntax error. This means the language of the code does not meet the standard of the program’s coding language. A common software error from erroneous syntax would be an omission of punctuation such as a coma or parenthesis. Some other common software errors are run time errors. Run time errors occur when a program does not execute properly. A Run time software error indicates that the program has a bug or glitch that the designer may even be aware of but couldn’t fix. Viruses or Trojans can cause some of the run time software errors as well. A SubSeven Trojan virus has been the culprit for “run time error 216 at address”. One way to stop getting the annoying software error messages such as “A run time error has occurred, Do you wish to Debug?” “ An error has occurred on script line 1, Do you wish to continue running scripts on this page?” Or finally “Internet Explorer Error” is to disable script and runtime errors. These kinds of errors may be due to one of three reasons. Number one; there is a programming error. Number 2, you are running a pop up blocker that closes the page before the script is executed. Number 3, you may actually have adware or spyware on your computer that opens the message. There is a way to configure your Internet explorer to ignore this type of software error. Here are the steps as follows: Open your Internet explorer. Click on tools and then on Internet options. Click on advanced options. Look for “disable script debugging” and check the box next to it. Next look for “Display for notification about every script error” and remove the check in the box next to it. If you still have a problem after doing the above, then you may want to run your anti-virus/spyware/adware removal software to make sure you are not infected with a virus, Trojan, spyware or adware. There are many software error programs online available to fix your common software errors. Many of them are registry fix Utilites. Most of the registry downloads will install and scan for your problems for free but to fix them you have to buy a license key to enter into the software installation. Always purchase the CD when they give you the option, in case of a computer crash. When I used Microsoft windows operating system I was an avid buyer of registry fix software programs. Depending on the other programs I had on my computer determined the compatibility of the registry fix Utility software with my other computer software programs. Sometimes the programs clashed and the registry fixer didn’t work. I used PC Doctor, which you can purchase a license online for various intervals. I would find that after a few months the license didn’t work and I would have to reinstall the software. It does get rid of errors though. I used PC registry mechanic, System Suite, Bug Doctor and Error Doctor. The reason I used so many was they didn’t all take care of the same bugs and software errors for some reason. Some of the programs to fix the errors would conflict with my anti-virus/firewall software. My suggestion is to make sure you get the registry and error repair software that has a trial period so if it doesn’t work with your other software you can get a refund. |
